DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN TANGIER
Flight or ferry
Once you step foot in the African continent, you will have your driver waiting for you at the gates and escort you to your hotel for check in. Today, take things at your own pace, walk by the beautiful coastal boulevard of Tangier which looks like you’re in a Florida beach town. Tangier is known to be an international city since centuries, today is a rapidly growing economical hub for multinational businesses. Walk to the “Lazy wall” to have a stunning panoramic view of Gibraltar and Tarifa on the other side. Spain is just 14 Kms away.
DAY 2 TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN
Have a royal continental breakfast at your hotel before you start your roadtrip to the Atlas mountains in the direction of Chefchaouen, the beautiful blue city, this whole town screams blue, the buildings, the blue washed streets, even the stairs and the steep cobled lanes is painted blue. In the main square you will find one of the oldest Kasbahs in Morocco dating in the 15th century, a fortress and dungeon as well as an Ethnographic Museum to give you a taste of the history of this marvel.
DAY 3 CHEFCHAOUEN – FES via MEkens&Volublis
Today, we will start the day with a trip to explore the ancient Volubilis, Morocco’s heritage of Roman ruins. After an introduction from your guide to the history of this centuries old monument dating back to 3 century BC, we will head to the most ancient medina in the world, known as the cultural capital, fes is surrounded with a large wall from the medieval Marinid era, vibrant souks and medina streets almost like a labyrinth, you guide will take you to visit one of the biggest tanneries in the country, still using traditional methods, the rooftop of the tanneries offer a panoramic view of the Medina and the surrounding mountains. then off to discover the pottery factories onfoot; the souk, the square and the NejjarineFountain, and outdoor views of the Karaouyine Mosque in heart ofMedina. The narrow streets are busy and you’ll need to watch out for thedonkeys. Lunch will be in an ancient palace in the Medina.
DAY 4 FES SIGHTSEEING
Good morning, sip your coffe at your terasse overlooking the majestic medina walls and the atlas mountains, we start today by an outdoor visit of the Royal Palace, also the Jewish Quarter and its houses with forged iron balconies. Then, you will visit the magnificient Bab Boujeloud,Mellah, Then into the medina and the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, founded by a Muslim woman, the University opened its doors in 859. After a fabulous Moroccan lunch, we head back to the souk and markets at your own pace to buy souvenirs for your close ones. Spend the evening in a Moroccan spa, enjoy hammam, a massage and relax and take in the fresh air. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 5 Fes – CASABLANCA
Today after breakfast, we head to Casablanca, the economical hub of Morocco, unlike in the movie, Casablanca is a modern city with a blend of Moorish and European décor and architecture, once arrived, your guide will take you to the gigantic Hassan II mosque standing on top of the atlantic ocean. Lunch at Rick’s Café and then walk around the malls to discover some contemporary Moroccan products and deisgns. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
DAY 6 DEPARTURE
Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will transfer you to the airport and help you with checkout formalities. We will wish you a safe flight and hope to see you again in our beautiful Morocco.
