Located approximately 150 km north-east of Marrakech, the falls are near the village of Tanaghmeilt, in full High Atlas. Their name in Berber means ’to grind grain’. It starts in the morning from your hotel and proceed to the highest waterfalls in Morocco: fall from a height of 110 meters, offering an amazing view. The walk will be arriving to the base of the falls; comfortable shoes are recommended for hiking. For lunch there are many small cafes that overlook the splendid panorama. In the summer months the area is a heaven to escape from the heat of the city; you can refresh yourself in the crystal clear waters. In the spring the water level rises considerably.
