DAY 1 ARRIVAL

On arrival, you'll find our driver and guide who will escort you to your hotel or Riad for check in. Tonight, do things at your pace, enjoy dinner at your hotel or Riad. Visit a spa and save your energy for tomorrow. You have a long day ahead!

DAY 2 MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE

Today, our direction is to the High Atlas through the de Tizi'ntichka Pass (2260 m). We will wind our way along a mountainious road full of small villages and waterfalls. Tiz'nTichka means in the local language "neck pastures". The path is particularly impressive with a landscape constantly changing and a succession of colours to make you gasp. A stop for mint tea gives you the opportunity to savour the beauty of the environment, before arriving at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where we stop for lunch. Built entirely of adobe, namely straw and mud, this village was included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Popular with Hollywood filmmakers it has been chosen for filming international movies such as Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, and many more. We'll navigate our way around Ouarzazate before continuing our journey to the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,.Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

DAY 3 OUARZAZATE – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we walk in the stunning Dades Gorges. We take the car to travel the road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the village of Tineghier, with its Jewish Quarter, to reach the Todra in time for lunch. A walking tour will highlight the beauty of the surroundings before continuing our journey to the desert of Merzouga. We arrive at the edge of the desert in time to leave the car and travel onwards by camel to reach the foot of the dunes of the mighty Erg Chebbi (the largest dune), to spend the night in a five-star tent camp where you will take a typical Moroccan dinner and be entertained by Berber drums and chants. If the weather is on our side, you'll witness a Milky Way performance that guided camel caravans across a night desert for centuries..

DAY 4 MERZOUGA – SKOURA

Wake with the local nomads. After breakfast, we visit Rissani - old Sijilmassa - the economic capital of Morocco where the caravans used to depart through the desert and where it still holds a market known for the sale of medicines, donkeys and Berber rugs. Here you also find many traditional kasbahs and typical Moroccan buildings. For lunch, you will experience directly the hospitality of the locals. A Tuareg family opens the doors of their modest home for us to taste the famous Berber pizza with its 44 spices. We head back to Rissani from a different direction, passing through the village of N'Kob and the Valley of the Draa. We stop for tea and visit Agdez.  Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

DAY 5 SKOURA

Skoura is a magical oasis lined with many palm groves. The contrast of the Atlas Mountains and the desert landscape is fascinating. Known for growing roses the perfumes in the air are intense. The palm groves were built by the 12th century Almohad Sultan Yacoub el-Mansour and named after its natives - the people of the Haskourene tribe. Many of the most spectacular Kasbahs in Morocco can be found in and around Skoura. After lunch in a typical southern restaurant we head for the town of Skoura, known for its Monday markets. Then we head back to your hotel, relax, have dinner and spend the night in the most relaxed, noise and pollution free town of Morocco.

DAY 6 SKOURA – MARRAKECH

Today, after breakfast, we travel to Ouarzazate. You can see the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios if we missed it on day 2. They are the largest and most famous film studios in all of Africa. From here, you can stop at the oasis of Fint, a few kilometres from Ouarzazate. We then continue on the road of Tizin'Tichka stopping for lunch in a small village. We will arrive in Marrakech in the late evening. Dinner and overnight at your hotel or Riad.

DAY 7 MARRAKECH MONUMENTS

Today, after breakfast, we go back in time to discover the mysteries of this much-loved city. We will start at the Bahia Palace, known for its incredible gardens. Built in the 19th century, to be one of the greatest palaces of its time it will leave an indelible impression. We'll explore the alleyways of the Medina and visit the renowned Koutoubia Mosque - known as the mosque of the booksellers. Follow your guide through the minarets while he explains the history of this marvel. Next, the Ben Youssef Madrassa Koranic School - named after the Almoravid Sultan who made Marrakech a known place worldwide. This school is the largest Madrassa in Morocco. Finally, the Jewish Mellah to shop for the best leather and pottery Morocco can offer, and finishing with mint tea at sunset to enjoy the golden views of the Jamaa El Fna Square.

DAY 8 MARRAKECH GARDENS

Like a king and queen, travel a slow pace around the city in your horse drawn carriage. Take time to visit the famous Majorelle Gardens and the newly opened Majorelle Gardens Museum. The gardens cover two and half acres of botanical plants and features set against an artist's landscape. It was created by French Orientalist artist, Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923 and features a Cubist villa designed by French architect, Paul Sinoir in the 1930s. Walk around the cactus trees and visit the museum to discover the berber heritage of the country. Once done, head for the Menara Gardens and enjoy a first class lunch overlooking the Marrakech city life. Head back to your hotel for a 5-star dinner and overnight.

DAY 9  MARRAKECH IS YOURS

Today is your time to take a stroll on your own around the souks. Enjoy shopping or head to a spa to relax and spend your last day by a pool. Marrakech is yours today.

DAY 10 DEPARTURE

Seems like your holiday is over and we definitely will expect you again for a grand tour of our beautiful Morocco. Depending on your flight, we will escort you to the airport and wish you a safe flight home.
